Tofu Patties

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. firm tofu
  • 1 1/3 c. chickpeas, cooked
  • 1 c. celery, chopped
  • 1 c. onions, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 c. cracker meal
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. dill, ground
  • 1 egg (optional)

Directions

    Mash chickpeas with fork or crush in food processor.

    Do same with tofu.

    Add the other ingredients.

    Make into patties.

    Bake on cookie sheet that's oiled.

    Can also fry.

    In case mixture is too soft, add more cracker meal.

    Makes 12 patties.
