Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. chuck or round steak, cut in cubes
- 1 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes, chopped and drained
- 1 (8 oz.) can peas, undrained
- 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, undrained
- 1 c. uncooked macaroni
Directions

1Heat oil and brown cubes of meat.

2Remove meat and cook onions and garlic until golden brown.

3Put meat back in with onions and garlic.

4Add salt, pepper and tomatoes.

5Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until meat is tender.

6Add undrained peas and mushrooms.

7Stir in the uncooked macaroni.

8Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until macaroni is tender.
