  • 1 lb. cubed beef
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 soup can water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 6 onions
  • 6 carrots, halved
  • 3 potatoes, quartered
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme

Directions

    Roll meat in flour; brown in shortening in a large heavy pan. Add soup and water; cover.

    Simmer 1/2 hour; stir now and then. Add remaining ingredients.
