- 2 c. canned tomatoes
- 4 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- pepper
- salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. soda
Directions

1Put tomatoes in saucepan, juice too.

2Chop tomatoes into small pieces.

3Add the butter, sugar, pepper, soda and salt; bring to a boil.

4Boil about 5 minutes.

5Add milk and bring again to a boil. Serve as is, without straining.

6Don't ask me why it doesn't curdle, but it doesn't.
