- 1/2 lb. melted butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 5 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. tomato juice
- 1/2 c. raisins without seeds
- 2 spoons flour
Directions

1Mix butter and sugar until creamy, add vanilla.

2Add one egg at a time.

3Add flour, baking powder and salt.

4Add in tomato juice.

5Add flour to raisins so they won't stick to the cake.

6Mix in circular movement.

7Pour mixture in 9 x 4-inch pan in 350° oven.

8Bake for 50 minutes.

9Let it cool for 10 minutes before taking it out and serving.
