- 1 pint vinegar
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon red pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 5 cloves
- 5 whole allspice
- 12 cup cornstarch
Directions

1take 1/2 bushel tomatoes cut up in small pieces.

2cook strain

3and to each gallon juice add 1 pint vinegar.

11cooking 2 hours

12then add 1/2 cup cornstarch(this is where i think the recipe gets hinky , i think its 2 much cornstarch for each gallon

13and then cook 15 minutes more
