  • 1 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 lb. ground meat
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 can condensed Italian tomato soup
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (optional)

Directions

    Cook macaroni according to directions.

    Brown onion and meat; drain grease.

    Stir in soup, water and pepper.

    Fold drained macaroni into tomato mixture.

    If cheese topping is desired, put Tomato Mac 'N Meat in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish; sprinkle cheese on top and bake at 325° until cheese melts.
