  • tomatoes with peeled skins (fresh garden grown only)
  • biscuits, already cooked
  • butter
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    On the bottom of a casserole dish, put a layer of tomatoes.

    Salt and pepper.

    Then slice biscuits. Butter them and layer on top of tomatoes.

    Repeat layering tomatoes, salt and pepper and biscuits with butter until you put a final layer of buttered biscuits on top.

    Place in oven uncovered and cook for 25 to 30 minutes.

    Serve hot.
