  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato puree
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. water

Directions

    Melt butter; pour over bread crumbs and toss.

    Heat tomato puree with water, salt and brown sugar.

    Simmer about 5 minutes. Pour mixture over crumbs and toss; put in casserole dish and bake covered at 325° for 45 minutes.
