- 4 slices stale or toasted bread
- 6 medium tomatoes, peeled or canned tomatoes, drained (reserve juice)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- Fresh dried parsley (optional)
Directions

1Cut each tomato in 6 pieces, place in saucepan and cook until done.

2Mash up.

3Break up your bread in small pieces and add to tomatoes.

4Stir (should be pudding consistency; add a little tomato juice if necessary).

5Add butter, sugar, salt and pepper. Top with fresh dried parsley.
