- 1 (10 oz.) can tomato puree
- 1/4 c. boiling water
- 1 c. brown sugar, loosely packed
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. bread, cut in one-inch cubes
- scant 1/2 c. melted margarine
Directions

1Combine sugar, salt, water and puree; bring to a boil.

2Boil 5 minutes.

3Place bread cubes in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.

4Pour melted margarine over bread cubes; add hot tomato mixture.

5Bake, covered, for 30 minutes at 350°.

6Good served with poultry.
