Tomato Soup

Ingredients
- 1/2 bushel tomatoes, cook and run through colander
- 1 bunch celery
- 8 onions
- 1 pod banana pepper
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 6 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 2 c. plain flour
- 4 sticks margarine
Directions

1Cook tomatoes; run through colander.

2Cook celery, onions and banana pepper together.

3Make a paste with some of the cooled tomato paste and the flour.

4Bring all of the ingredients to a slow boil and cook 30 minutes.

5Put in sterilized jars; seal.

6Put jars in a hot water bath for 20 minutes.

7Makes approximately 12 quarts.
