- 8 fresh tomatoes, chopped or 4 c. canned tomatoes, chopped
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 onion, chopped (medium-large)
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- more of seasonings to suit taste (optional)
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (optional)
Directions

1Cook tomatoes, celery and onion in 1 cup water until celery is tender.

2Add all seasonings and cream cheese.

3Puree in blender until creamy texture and return to low heat, not allowing to come to boil.
