- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans condensed tomato soup
- 1 soup can milk
- 1/2 tsp. sweet basil
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/8 garlic powder
Directions

1In medium saucepan, cook and stir onion in butter until onion is tender.

2Stir in cream cheese.

3Gradually stir in soup and milk; beat with rotary beater until smooth.

4Add seasoning.

5Heat, stirring frequently, but do not boil.

6If desired, garnish each serving with sieved egg yolk.

7Makes 4 (1 cup) servings.
