- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. condensed tomato soup
Directions

1Sift flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice together 3 times. Cream shortening, sugar and eggs until fluffy.

2Sift dry ingredients into tomato soup, alternating small amounts, beating thoroughly after each addition.

3Last add nuts and raisins.

4Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes or until done.

5Let stand 24 hours before cutting.

6Cover with cream cheese icing or caramel icing, whichever you prefer.
