  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. raisins or nuts
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Add melted butter to soup; add sugar.

    Add dredged raisins and nuts. Pour into greased pan and bake 45 minutes at 325°.
