- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (16 oz.) can peas, drained
- 2 potatoes
- 1 large onion
- 1 can tomato soup
- 3/4 c. water
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Divide beef into 4 patties and brown on both sides.

2Put browned beef patties in large skillet or pot with tight-fitting lid.

3Sprinkle salt and pepper on beef.

4Peel potatoes and slice in 2 pieces.

5Slice onion in 4 slices.

6On each beef patty, place 1 slice onion and 1 piece of potato.

7Pour drained peas over this. Combine tomato soup and water.

8Pour over top of mixture.

9Simmer for 45 minutes until potatoes are done.
