- 1 (46 oz.) can chicken or beef broth
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen cheese tortellini
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. corn starch
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Reserve 1 1/4 cups broth.

2Bring remaining broth to a boil in large pot.

3Add tortellini and cook until tender.

4Drain.

5In a small bowl, blend cornstarch into 1 1/4 cup of reserved broth.

6In a large saucepan, saute garlic and basil in margarine for 2 minutes over medium heat.

7Add cornstarch-broth mixture to the saucepan.

8Cook and stir until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.

9Place tortellini in a serving dish and pour the broth- mixture and the Parmesan cheese into the serving dish and toss. Serve with toothpicks.
