Tortilla Cheese Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 to 16 oz.) bag tortilla chips
  • 1 (26 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 4 to 5 green onions, sliced
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 can black olives pitted, sliced
  • 8 oz. Monterey Jack or Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp. cilantro
  • 1/8 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 Tbsp. mild green chilies

Directions

    In a bowl, mix soup, water, cilantro, cumin and chilies together.

    Line a baking pan with 1 layer of tortilla chips. Sprinkle onions, green peppers and olives over chips.

    Then add cheeses next.

    Pour 1/4 of the soup mixture over the chips.

    Keep repeating steps until all ingredients are gone.

    Bake for 45 minutes in 350° oven.

    Remove cover for last 15 minutes of baking to let it crisp.
