Ingredients
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies, drained
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 c. peeled and chopped tomatoes
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed beef bouillon
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed chicken broth
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. tomato juice
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. bottled steak sauce
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- corn tortillas, cut in strips 2-inches long
Directions

1Saute onion, chilies and garlic in oil until soft.

2Add tomatoes, bouillon, chicken broth, water, tomato juice, cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and steak sauce. Bring soup to boil; lower heat and simmer, covered, 1 hour.

3Put tortilla strips in bottom of bowl.

4Spoon on soup.

5Sprinkle with cheese.
