- 1 whole Green Platano
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
Directions

1Heat the oil in a cast iron skillet.

2Place the plantains in the oil and fry on both sides, about 23 minutes per side.

3Remove the plantains and transfer to a paper towel to drain.

4Using a cup, mason jar or whatever else, flatten the plantains by pressing down.

5Simple.

6Return them to the hot oil and fry em up for about 1 minute on each side.

7Dust with a good amount of salt.

8Or serve with dipping sauce.
