Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 c. crunchy peanut butter
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. coarsely chopped miniature peanut butter cups

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Cream first 6 ingredients until fluffy. Sift dry ingredients together.

    Gradually stir dry ingredients into creamed mixture.

    Stir in chopped peanut butter cups.

    Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.

    Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.

    Remove from sheets and cool on wire racks.

    Yields approximately 5 dozen cookies.
