- 2 lb. lean ground pork
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. water
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 2 large potatoes
Directions

1Combine meats, onion, salt and water.

2Cook slowly for 45 minutes.

3Add spices; cook 15 minutes longer.

4Let stand to let flavors blend.

5Cook potatoes.

6Mash while hot; mix immediately with meat mixture.

7Place in a pie shell.

8Cover with top shell; lattice style if desired.

9Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until nicely browned.

10When cooled, may be stored in freezer, wrapped in tinfoil or adequate freezer bag.
