Traditional Corn Bread Dressing

- 1/3 c. butter
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. onion
- 1 prepared recipe Martha White Cornbread, crumbled (about 6 cups)
- 4 slices bread, torn into small pieces (about 2 1/2 cups)
- 1 tsp. dried sage
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 2 eggs, beaten
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450°. Lightly grease 13 X 9 X 2 inch baking dish or pan. Melt butter in skillet, saute celery and onion until tender, about 3 minutes. In large mixing bowl, combine corn bread, cook celery, bread, onion, sage and black pepper.

2Stir broth and eggs into cornbread mixture, blend well. Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown.
