  • 2 boxes Green Giant corn in butter sauce
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted

    In a medium bowl, combine kernels with sugar, nutmeg and pepper.

    Add eggs, mixing well.

    Stir in milk.

    Turn into buttered 1-quart casserole dish.

    Place casserole dish in a pan of water and bake in preheated slow oven at 325° until knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 1 hour.
