- 1 pound Minced Pork
- 1/4 cups Chopped Onion
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Sage
- 1 dash Pepper
- 1/4 cups Boiling Water
- 1- 1/2 cup Mashed Potatoes
- 2 whole 9-inch Pie Crusts, Store-Bought Or Homemade
Directions

1In a large skillet (preferably cast iron), combine pork, onion, seasonings and water.

2Simmer uncovered until meat is cooked (about 25 minutes), stirring occasionally.

3Cool and skim off fat.

4Stir in potatoes.

5Line a pie plate with half of the pastry.

6Fill with the pork mixture.

7Cover with the second half of the pastry and seal the edges.

8Cut steam vents on top.

9Bake for 10 minutes at 450 degrees.

10Reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking until crust is golden brown (about 30 minutes).
