  • 1 cup (2 sticks) soften butter
  • 1 1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour (2 cups high altitude)
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 cups oatmeal uncooked (quick or old fashioned)
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup simmered raisins
  • 4 average sized apples (peeled and diced or sliced)

Directions

    Heat oven to 375 degrees.

    Beat together butter and sugars until creamy.

    Add eggs, milk and vanilla, beat well.

    Stir in oats, nuts, raisins and apples, mix well.

    Press dough onto bottom of ungreased 9 x 13 baking pan.

    Bake 30- 35 minutes.
