  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 can crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix (dry)
  • 1 c. coconut flakes
  • 1 c. pecan pieces

Directions

    Spread cherries evenly over bottom of a 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Pour in pineapple, but do not mix.

    Sift cake mix on top.

    Pour butter on evenly.

    Sprinkle with coconut and pecans.

    Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and coconut is toasted.
