Ingredients
- 4 trout fillets
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. oil
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Put fillets in shallow pan and add milk to cover.

2Let stand for 1 hour.

3Put almonds with peel in small bowl; cover with water.

4Place in microwave on High for 1 minute.

5This will make peeling come off easily.

6Sliver the almonds with paring knife and set aside.

7Remove fillets from milk and put in flour mixture (flour, salt and pepper).

8Toss lightly and shake off excess. Brown fillets in oil until lightly brown on both sides.

9Discard oil.

10Put butter in skillet and add nuts.

11Saute until golden brown.

12Place fillets on platter and covered with toasted almonds. Serve.
