Tuna Bake With Biscuits

  • 3 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 6 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can chicken soup (cream of chicken)
  • 1 (7 oz.) can tuna
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. grated cheese

Directions

    Melt shortening.

    Add salt and flour and blend.

    Then add soup and milk and cook until thick and creamy.

    Add tuna and lemon juice.

    Make 1 recipe of biscuits from Bisquick box.

    Drop on the top of mixture.

    Bake at 450° for 15 minutes, then at 425° for 15 minutes.

    The biscuits may be added after the first 15 minutes also.
