Tuna Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 large can chunk-style tuna
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
  • 1 (8 oz.) bag potato chips, crushed

Directions

    Slowly cook onion, celery and green pepper in butter until tender, but not brown.

    Add soup, milk and tuna; mix well.

    Cook noodles according to directions on package and drain.

    Alternate layers of noodles and soup mixture in greased casserole dish. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until brown.

    Sprinkle with potato chips and return to oven to brown chips.

    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
