- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 3/4 c. evaporated milk
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 c. shredded processed American cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 (7 oz.) cans tuna, drained and flaked (chicken can be used)
- 1 (1 lb.) can peas and carrots, drained
- 4 c. cooked noodles or macaroni
Directions

1Mix butter or margarine, onion, evaporated milk, water, cheese and salt in saucepan.

2Cook and stir over medium heat until cheese completely melts.

3Mix cheese mixture with tuna, peas, carrots and noodles.

4Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.

5Top with more cheese or cornflake crumbs.
