  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • 1 Tbsp. dried onion flakes
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 12 stuffed olives, sliced
  • 1 (7 oz.) can tuna, flaked

    Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, sugar and salt.

    Stir in cornmeal and onion flakes.

    Combine buttermilk, egg and oil.

    Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients; stir well but do not beat.

    Fold in olives and tuna.

    Pour into greased 8 x 8-inch pan.
