Tuna Rice Bake

  • 2 cups cooked long-grain white rice
  • 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna in water, drained
  • 1 can (11 oz) cream of asparagus soup
  • 1 can (15 oz) asparagus spears, drained
  • 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 None onion, finely chopped
  • 2 slices day-old white bread, crusts removed, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • None None Mixed salad, to serve

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 400°F. Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.

    Combine the rice, tuna, soup, asparagus, cheese and onion in a large bowl. Season. Spoon into the prepared dish. Top with bread and drizzle with butter.

    Bake for 20 mins or until golden and heated through. Serve with salad.
