  • 6 canned plum tomatoes, drained, squeezed and coarsely chopped
  • 1 1/2 pounds tuna steak, 1-inch thick
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • kosher salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 6 large basil leaves
