  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 5/8 cup coconut
  • 1 1/8 pounds steaks turkey
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped
  • olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 red pepper
  • 2 tablespoons diced tomato
  • 2 tablespoons curry

Directions

    To make the coconut milk, bring to a boil the milk and coconut, and let boil for about 3 minutes. Remove from heat, and sieve through a fine strainer.

    Cut the steaks into small pieces, and season with salt, pepper, and chopped garlic.

    Heat a skillet with a drizzle of olive oil.

    Add the chopped onion, and saute over low heat until it is soft.

    Add the meat and bay leaf.

    Let the meat cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Add the tomatoes, and stir.

    Grind the red pepper in the food processor. and add to the skillet.

    Add the coconut milk mixed with the curry.

    Cook for about 10 minutes.

    Serve with white rice.
