- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 5/8 cup coconut
- 1 1/8 pounds steaks turkey
- salt
- ground black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves chopped
- olive oil
- 1 onion
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 red pepper
- 2 tablespoons diced tomato
- 2 tablespoons curry
Directions

1To make the coconut milk, bring to a boil the milk and coconut, and let boil for about 3 minutes. Remove from heat, and sieve through a fine strainer.

2Cut the steaks into small pieces, and season with salt, pepper, and chopped garlic.

3Heat a skillet with a drizzle of olive oil.

4Add the chopped onion, and saute over low heat until it is soft.

5Add the meat and bay leaf.

6Let the meat cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

7Add the tomatoes, and stir.

8Grind the red pepper in the food processor. and add to the skillet.

9Add the coconut milk mixed with the curry.

10Cook for about 10 minutes.

11Serve with white rice.
