  • 2 c. shredded cabbage
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz.) Great Northern beans, drained
  • 1 (15 oz.) garbanzo beans, drained
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic or garlic salt
  • 1/4 c. snipped parsley
  • 1 tsp. dried basil

    Combine all ingredients in a large stew pot and bring to a boil, then simmer for about 1 1/2 hours or until done.
