  • 1 cup water
  • 12 cup chopped dry sun-dried tomato
  • 1 12 lbs ground turkey
  • 14 cup finely chopped yellow onion
  • 1 -2 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 12 cup fresh breadcrumb
  • 14 cup milk
  • 14 cup chopped parsley
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • fresh ground pepper
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons white wine
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • salt
  • fresh ground pepper

Directions

    In a small pan over high heat, bring water to a boil.

    Add in tomatoes; remove pan from heat and let stand 10 minutes; drain and dry.

    Preheat oven to 375.

    In a big bowl mix tomatoes, turkey, onion, garlic, egg, bread crumbs, milk, parsley, salt, poultry seasoning, and pepper.

    Shape into 1 1/2 inch meatballs; place on a lightly oiled or sprayed baking sheet with a rim.

    Bake about 15 minutes, until browned, stirring once.

    Meanwhile, in a saucepan whisk broth and wine with flour.

    Place over med-high heat; bring to a boil.

    Whisk until thickened; season with salt and pepper.

    Add meatballs and juices; simmer until flavors are blended, about 5 minutes.

    Serve over hot cooked rice or noodles.
