  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 6 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 5 c. flour

Directions

    Warm buttermilk; add yeast and dissolve, then add remaining ingredients, flour last.

    Dough should be soft.

    Let raise double in bulk.

    Punch down.

    Place in fridge until ready to use.

    Pat or roll to 1/3-inch thick.

    Slice with knife and fry in hot fat at 350°.
