  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cups rice Uncooked
  • 5 cups chicken broth
  • 4 cups wild turkey Diced cooked
  • salt to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

    Saute onion in large saucepan with melted butter.

    Add rice.

    Add broth, turkey, salt and pepper.

    Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer.

    Cover and cook 30 minutes.

    Sprinkle with cheese before serving.
