- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 onion diced
- 2 cups rice Uncooked
- 5 cups chicken broth
- 4 cups wild turkey Diced cooked
- salt to taste
- freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions

1Saute onion in large saucepan with melted butter.

2Add rice.

3Add broth, turkey, salt and pepper.

4Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer.

5Cover and cook 30 minutes.

6Sprinkle with cheese before serving.
