Turmeric & Ginger Tea

  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Shredded Ginger Root
  • 1 teaspoon Shredded Turmeric Root

Directions

    In a saucepan, add the water. Set it on the stove to high heat. Put the shredded ginger and turmeric in a food sieve that can rest on the edge of the pan. Make sure the water can reach the roots.

    Bring to a boil and let it boil for 5 minutes. Remove the sieve from the pan and throw away the root shreds. Serve the tea while hot. Sweeten with honey or agave syrup to taste.
