- 6 c. mashed turnips
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 stick margarine
- bread crumbs, buttered
Directions

1Salt and cook enough turnips for 6 cups.

2Drain and mash.

3Add softened cream cheese, sugar and margarine; mix well.

4Pour into casserole and top with bread crumbs.

5Bake at 350° until bubbly, hot and lightly browned.

6Makes 8 to 10 servings.

7Rutabagas or carrots may be used also.
