Ingredients
- 6 c. flour
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. oleo or butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 c. milk
Directions

1Work flour, yeast, shortening, butter, salt and sugar as for pie dough until well blended.

2Beat eggs and milk together; add to flour mixture.

3Mix well.

4Roll out thin and cut into 5-inch circles.

5Fill with your favorite pie filling.

6Fold in half and seal edges.

7Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.

8(Can be rolled in sugar before baking.)

9Roll in powdered sugar while warm or glaze with powdered sugar frosting while still warm.

10Dough may be frozen.

11Makes 35 to 40 turnovers.
