- 14 oz. bag caramels
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 1 box German chocolate cake
- 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
Directions

1Mix on high for 2 minutes the cake mix, butter and milk.

2Put half cake batter in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Bake at 350° for 8 minutes.

4Cool 5 minutes.

5Spread caramel on cake.

6Sprinkle with 1 cup or desired amount of chocolate chips and nuts.

7Pour on remaining cake batter.

8Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.

9(Cake will not test done.)

10Cool and frost with fudge icing.
