- 1 pkg. caramels (50 pieces)
- 1/2 c. Carnation evaporated milk
- 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 3/4 c. margarine, melted
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions

1Melt caramels with 1/2 cup evaporated milk and set aside. Combine cake mix, margarine, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and nuts. Mix. press half of this mixture into 9x13 pan.

2Bake 8 minutes at 350°.

3Let cool.

4Spread semi-sweet chocolate chips over baked mixture.

5Spread caramel mixture over chocolate chips.

6Crumble other half of cake mixture on top. Bake 18-20 minutes at 350°.
