- 1 box Swiss or German chocolate cake, mix as directed
- 14 oz. caramels, melted
- 1/2 stick margarine, melted
- 1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
- pecans (optional)
Directions

1Grease or spray Pam on large square pan or dish.

2Pour 1/2 cake mixture in pan and bake 15 minutes at 350°.

3Mix melted caramels, margarine and Eagle Brand milk.

4Pour over cake that's baked.

5Pour remaining cake batter over mixture.

6Sprinkle with nuts, if desired.

7Bake 20 minutes at 350°.

8Cool.
