  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 6 oz. chocolate chips
  • 6 oz. chopped walnuts

    Mix cake mix according to directions.

    Pour 1/2 into 9 x 13-inch greased pan.

    Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

    Melt caramels with milk.

    Pour over cake.

    Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over caramel.

    Pour other half of cake mix on and bake another 20 minutes.
