  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix, mix as directed
  • 1 lb. Kraft caramels
  • stick butter
  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk
  • 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Melt together caramels, butter, milk, chocolate chips and nuts. Pour half of cake batter in 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350°. Pour caramel mixture over half-baked cake.

    Pour remaining cake batter over caramel. Add chocolate chips and nuts on top. Bake 30 more minutes until done.
