  • 1 medium snapping turtle (5 to 7 lb.), cut into 1 to 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 c. bread or cracker crumbs, finely ground
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Boil turtle pieces until tender; dip into egg/milk mixture (blended well).

    Roll in bread or cracker crumbs.

    Deep fry until golden brown.

    Serve with your favorite vegetable.
