- 1-1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cups cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 14 turtles candies, chopped
- Whole turtles for garnish
Directions

1Combine pecans, sugar and butter; mix well.

2Press on to the bottom of a 9-inch (23 cm.)

3springform pan.

4Bake in 325F.

5oven for 12 minutes; set aside.

6Beat cream cheese until smooth.

7Beat in brown sugar, flour and vanilla until well blended.

8Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

9Stir in chopped turtles.

10Pour onto pecan crust.

11Bake in 325F.

12oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until center of cake is just set.

13Turn off oven and let cake stand in oven 30 minutes.

14Remove to a wire rack, cool to room temperature.

15Chill for at least 4 hours before service.
